Lace Wig and your real hair’s health?
Posted on January 24th, 2009 3 commentsjames_choice asked:
I just bought a full lace front wig. Wonderfull hair. I have my own real hair which is great too - 14”, wavy, dark brown. I am a long hair girl and I think my best features are enhanced with long hair - which I used to have.
I intend to use my lace front wig for a year - the time that my real hair takes to get the lenght I need. I am going to use the wig for a week - wash my hair ( washing my hair once a week really works on me) and then after my hair is dry i would put my wig again and repeat this cycle for a year. Will my own hair be safe? Should I wear a wig cap or no wig cap?
The last thing I want to do is to ruin my own hair ( like with hair extensions and so)Please help!!!

i wouldnt reccomend wearing a wig just me natural and show your real hair
wigs tend to get knotty and unbrushable
also you are more likely to catch head lice -
you dont use wig. If you cover your hair for 6 days a week the hair will not grow but…. fall.
Then the wig becomes permanent.
never use wigs unless it is demanded for a situation and for that time -
First, don’t listen to people who have never worn a wig. I have worn wigs for years, many years and my hair is fine under my wigs. YOu have to care for your hair just like the wig’s hair. As long as you wash, deep condition, and get your splits ends trimmed you should be fine. I spray an oil sheen spray on my hair and scalp every other day to keep it moisturized. You can also use a leave in condtioner. After you remove your wig at night, wrap it with a silk scarf. You should be fine.
